"Posada" for Immigrant Children of NYC.

In Mexico a "posada" celebrates the unity between family members and friends who want to share their happiness and what they are thankful for before the Christmas celebrations.
This year we are partnering with Mi Casa es Puebla and Yonkers Sanctuary Movement to bring this festive celebration to immigrant children whose parents were deported or are in the process of being deported as a result of the "zero tolerance" policy that prosecuted immigrants who crossed the border illegally.
We have been assigned 50 children. Each children will be partnered with a "Mariposa Godparent" who will be donating a gift and participating during the Posada Celebration.
